Spring has sprung in downtown Mobile! Come out and listen to the soothing
Sounds of live jazz as you lunch in Bienville Square around the historic Ketchum Fountain. Catt Sirten sets up live musicians and the City sets up tables for your enjoyment each Wednesday in the Spring.
To make your Brown Baggin' easier, stop in at your favorite Bienville Square eateries and ask for the Brown Bag special. They will provide you with your lunch to go in a nifty "Brown Bag" that you can easily transport to the Square and recycle in one of Keep Mobile Beautiful's recycle bins! LoDa ArtWalkFriday, Apr 11, 2008Fridays @ 5, this department's answer to the questions: what to do downtown on a Friday after work, is a musical street party that places local, live musicians in public square and on street corners as a prelude to the LoDa ArtWalk. Stroll the streets and walk in galleries, funky shops and larger institutions as they open their doors and invite you to see their works of art.
The event is family friendly and free.
From 5 until 9 p.m.
In April, also swing by Cathedral Square to sample local moviemakers at their best; sample silent Laurel & Hardy films inside the Crescent Theatre; and stop in at the new ArtWalk's newest address: Conti & Conception; where there will be live music at Noell B's, wine flowing at Bacchus and the much anticipated opening of Parkside Home & Garden! Come to Langan Park and spend an evening under the stars with a movie, kid's area and live music. April 12th will feature a Kids Day preview from 4:30 until 7:30, live music with the Mobile Pops from 5 until 7 and Shrek III starting at 7:40 p.m.
Saturday, May 10th will feature music with the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra from 4 until 5 p.m., Emerge from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. a kid's area from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and a showing of Evan Almighty starting at 8 p.m. Movies are presented by Southern LINC.
Both events are free and open to the public.

Also join us on Saturdays on July 19th and July 26th for kids' days in Langan Park. Bring out the children so they can enjoy face painters, clowns, hands on art, petting zoos, live entertainment and much more. From 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

11th Annual International Beer FestivalSaturday, Aug 23, 2008The Dauphin Street International Beer Festival will celebrate its eleventh anniversary with a bang! The event will take place in the Dauphin Street Entertainment District with over 20 participating venues and almost 80 international and domestic brews to sample. Tickets will be available starting two weeks before the event at participating locations.
