Join downtown art galleries, institutions, studios and unique shops as they open their doors and welcome you inside to see beautiful artwork, sample delicous foods and hear the sounds of the LoDa Artwalk.

Friday Night FlicksFriday, Mar 19, 2010When spring returns, so does Friday Night Flicks!
The City of Mobile sponors free, family friendly outdoor movies during the spring, summer and fall. Bring a picnic basket, a blanket and your neighbors and enjoy any or all of our outdoor movies under the stars and in our beautiful parks.
Below is a listing of our spring and summer line-up. Fall shows, dates and locations will be announced in mid-summer.

Sounds of live jazz as you lunch in Bienville Square around the historic Ketchum Fountain. Catt Sirten sets up live musicians and the City sets up tables for your enjoyment each Wednesday in the Spring.
To make your Brown Baggin' easier, stop in at your favorite Bienville Square eateries and ask for the Brown Bag special. They will provide you with your lunch to go in a nifty "Brown Bag" that you can easily transport to the Square and recycle in one of Keep Mobile Beautiful's recycle bins! From recycled fashions to music videos by local musicians and filmmakers, this event will prove to be one of the best yet. Shop for the freshest crop in town! This time of year is our favorite because you can get locally grown: tomatoes, potatoes, sweet corn, cantaloupe, watermelon, seafood, flowers, plants, baked breads, casseroles, pies, handcrafted goods and so much more. The Mobile Musuem of Art serves as a beautiful backdrop in Langan Park where you can get the freshest spring crops in South Alabama. Kids Days in BienvilleThursday, Jun 03, 2010Bring the kids out for some summertime fun to Bienville Square each Thursday and enjoy live entertainment, arts and crafts and visits from The Dauphin Island Sea Lab, the Mobile Police and Fire Departments and much more! Free. Thursdays through July 8th from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Also join us on Saturdays on July 17th and July 24th for kids' days in Langan Park. Bring out the children so they can enjoy face painters, clowns, hands on art activities, petting zoos, live entertainment and much more.

Join us each Saturday on Cathedral Square for farm fresh flavor! The fall harvest is in, so come and get your fresh greens, fall corn, squash, peppers, sweet potatoes and much more. Also shop for locally produced goods like seafood, wine, handmade candles, pottery, live music and much more. Stay for live music, frolicking in the fountain and breakfast at Spot of Tea. The City welcomes in the holiday season with pictures with Santa, live music and much more. Shop in our merry market, enjoy live entertainment, and play in the SNOW! Be sure to be there by 6, as we kick off the holiday season when the Mayor and Santa light up the tree at 6:10!
